- Describe the professional development. The Rutherford County Schools ITC Department completed the Bold School Book Study during the 2nd semester of the 2018-19 school year. In conjunction with reading the book independently, we were also divided into teams and assigned a specific chapter. Each team then summarized the assigned chapter in digital format which was then shared with the entire ITC group. Additionally, the "Fishbowl" concept was introduced and modeled for the entire group.
- How did you use this professional development to create a technology-enhanced learning experience for teachers in your assigned building? The immediate use of this professional development was applied to 7th grade science as we used that content area for a Fishbowl demonstration. Working with this teacher prior to the session allowed me to practice the skills derived from the book study.
